My brothers wanted Ryan arrested immediately.
Police were already coming.
An ambulance took me to hospital.
My injuries:
Severe bruising to the forearm.
No fracture.
A small shoulder contusion.
No head trauma.
And the only result any of us cared about:
The baby was okay.
Fetal monitoring remained reassuring.
No placental injury.
No contractions suggesting immediate preterm labor.
