She had not forged every document personally.
Aurelia was a real project.
Some related-party services were legitimate.
No newborn had actually been taken.
No false guardianship petition had been filed.
Those distinctions mattered.
The strongest criminal evidence involved the disputed financial authorization surrounding Everett’s guaranty, false statements or documents connected to that transaction, later efforts to coerce a family release, and the physical assault on Jessamine.
The postpartum planning served largely as evidence of intent and coercive conduct rather than becoming a fantasy list of charges.
Sabina entered negotiated pleas after pretrial litigation.
She received a custodial sentence followed by supervised release, financial penalties, and permanent restrictions preventing her from serving as officer, trustee, fiduciary, or authorized financial agent for vulnerable family members or Fenmore-controlled entities.
Her age.
Restitution.
Lack of prior convictions.
And the absence of physical injury to Iris affected sentencing.
So did planning.
She remained wealthy.
She lost institutional authority.
Callan completed diversion successfully.
No conviction.
He continued counseling after the legal requirement ended.
One session focused on why throwing the cake had felt so satisfying.
He hated the question.
Which meant it was probably useful.
The no-contact order protecting Jessamine eventually expired.
Jessamine did not replace it with ordinary family contact.
She and Callan established a written boundary through counsel.
Sabina could communicate with Callan by letter.
No direct contact with Jessamine.
No contact with Iris.
No gifts sent through relatives.
