Chapter 10 - The Sovereign Bloodline

Vincent unfolded the parchment paper under the desk lamp. Written across the center in dark, elegant silver calligraphy was a short, cryptic message:

Vincent Caruso and Rachel Dawson Caruso,

You have brought Richard Vale to justice and restored your family’s bloodline in New York.

But the wooden box your mother left you carried more than just a signet ring. It carried the master clearance key to the Caruso Global Trust in Geneva—a trust created by Don Vito Caruso forty years ago.

Your daughter Emma is the designated primary beneficiary of the European estate.

The Sovereign Council.

Vincent stared down at the silver ink as an electric, dangerous resolve settled over his powerful frame. He looked up, meeting Rachel’s wide, questioning dark eyes.

There was no fear in Vincent’s piercing blue eyes—only the unyielding, fierce protection of a man who would burn the world to keep his family safe.

"What is it, Uncle Vincent?" Emma asked innocently, holding her German Shepherd puppy in her lap.

Vincent slowly folded the parchment paper, slipping it into his jacket pocket, and reached out to gently touch Emma's cheek.

A slow, confident smile touched Vincent's lips as he looked at Rachel and little Emma.

"It’s nothing, my sweet girl," Vincent said softly, his deep baritone filled with absolute strength. "Just the beginning of our family's next chapter."

Vincent looked up at Marco, who stood at attention by the door.

"Prep the private jet for Geneva, Marco," Vincent commanded in a low, lethal baritone. "Our legacy has just begun."
