Chapter 24

Geneva, Switzerland, was draped in a familiar, freezing, and miserable drizzle. The cobblestone streets glistened under the dim, yellow glow of the antique streetlamps. It was the very same city where Richard and Frank had fought a bloody war against the Iron Collar operatives a decade ago. Now, Dominic Bellacorte returned to the European financial capital, walking through the shadows not as a legitimate corporate executive, but as the resurrected leader of a phantom army.
Dominic strode into the opulent, velvet-lined VIP suite of a highly exclusive private bank. He wore an immaculate, pitch-black suit, a heavy wool overcoat, and a polished silver half-mask that concealed the horrific burn scars on the right side of his face. The mask was a terrifying, psychological weapon, deliberately chosen to broadcast a single message to the European underworld: the Reaper had returned.
Behind him stood Matteo, the fiercely loyal lieutenant who had once commanded the tactical squads of the Iron Collar, flanked by four towering mercenaries dressed in advanced tactical gear.
Sitting across the glass table in the VIP suite were two sharply dressed liaisons representing the European money launderers allied with the South American cartel. They sweated profusely under Dominic’s razor-sharp, predatory gaze.
"Mr. Bellacorte," the lead liaison stammered, nervously adjusting his silk tie. "We were informed that the Bellacorte family had transitioned entirely to legitimate biotechnology and eco-resort investments. We did not expect... this level of aggression over a simple routing error."
Dominic stepped forward, the rhythmic tapping of his gold-plated walking cane echoing off the marble walls like a countdown to execution. He stopped inches from the glass table, leaning heavily on the cane, his pale gray eye pinning the liaison to his chair.
"Fifty thousand tons of cargo and three freighters vanish along Latitude 47, and you call it a routing error?" Dominic’s raspy, damaged voice scraped through the quiet room like broken glass. "You are facilitating the financial transactions for the Los Sombras cartel. You are hiding the stolen assets of my family."
"We operate under strict client confidentiality protocols!" the second liaison argued, desperately trying to maintain his professional composure.
Before the liaison could finish his sentence, Dominic moved with explosive, terrifying speed. He grabbed the man by his expensive silk tie, hauling him violently across the glass table until they were inches apart. The liaison whimpered in sheer terror, staring into the cold, unfeeling silver metal of Dominic’s mask.
"Your confidentiality protocols cannot stop a bullet," Dominic whispered, echoing the exact, lethal words his father had used in this very city ten years ago. "My son has already traced the digital footprint of the hijacked cargo to your servers. You have exactly ten seconds to hand over the decryption keys to the cartel's communication network, or I will let my men carve the truth out of your flesh."
The lead liaison panicked, his hands shaking violently as he pulled an encrypted USB drive from his breast pocket and slid it across the glass. "Take it! Just take it! But you are walking into a trap, Bellacorte! Mark knew you would come to Geneva! He allied with the cartel precisely because they promised him your head!"
Dominic released the trembling man, letting him collapse back into his leather chair. He picked up the USB drive, slipping it into his suit pocket. "Mark is a coward who couldn't pull a trigger to save his own life. He has vastly underestimated the monsters he summoned."

As Dominic turned to leave the VIP suite, his encrypted earpiece buzzed sharply. It was Noah, calling from the command center in Chicago.
"Dad," Noah's voice was tight, laced with urgent panic. "The trap in Geneva was a diversion. The digital trace from the cartel just splintered. They aren't trying to hack the dummy accounts. They used the connection to locate our physical servers. They bypassed the external perimeter. Dad... they're inside the Bellacorte Tower."
