Chapter 26 - The yacht

Two years after Sabine shoved Ellie, I considered selling the yacht.
Ellie objected.
“Why?”
“Bad memories.”
“It’s a boat.”

Then Ellie asked to have her tenth birthday there.
Small party.

My sister.
No business partners.
No investors.
No transaction announcement.
No Sabine.
At one point Ellie dropped a gift near the same section of artificial grass.
She bent down.
Paused.
Then picked it up.
Nobody touched her.
She opened it.
Inside was a ridiculous stuffed octopus almost as large as she was.
