Chapter 3 - The camera caught everything
The estate had poolside cameras.
Professionally installed.
No hidden microphones.
No surveillance fantasy.
Just visible security because:
Children.
Water.
Valuable property.
And, admittedly, my family.
The footage showed:
Emmie holding a wrapped gift.
Bianca reaching for it.
Emmie resisting.
Bianca pulling harder.
The gift falling.
Emmie saying something.
No audio.
Then Bianca striking her across the face.
The tooth was too small to see clearly.
Emmie falling against the chair was visible.
Then me.
I arrived.
Checked Emmie.
Walked toward Bianca.
Slapped her.
No question about either act.
Police received a preserved copy.
Not one edited by my people.
The complete file.
My attorney insisted.

If I wanted the camera believed when it showed Bianca hurting my daughter, I did not get to pretend it stopped recording when I hurt Bianca.
