Chapter 11 - Ryan Moves Out

I did not throw Ryan’s clothes onto lawn.
No revenge video.
Meredith advised:
“Do not create self-help housing problems.”
The house was separate property, but Ryan was my spouse and resident.
We handled through counsel.
Ryan voluntarily moved into a furnished apartment after five days.
Why?
Child-safety tension.
Financial litigation.
He knew staying would be unbearable.
Ethan watched him pack.
“Dad leaving?”
“Yes.”
“Because Grandma?”
“Because Mom and Dad need separate homes right now.”
“Forever?”
“I don’t know.”
That was true at the time.
I suspected.
Didn’t know.
Ryan hugged Ethan.
Ethan allowed.
Then:
“Can I take Dino?”
Ryan laughed sadly.
“Dino stays with you.”
Good answer.
Ryan did not ask Ethan to choose.
Another good decision.
People can fail massively and still do specific things right.
