Chapter 4 - Ethan’s injuries
Police separated everyone.
Ethan went to the hospital.
So did I.
His injuries were limited, thankfully.
Bruising on his legs.
A red mark on one arm where Gary had grabbed him.
No fracture.
No internal injury.
No head trauma.
The shattered glass on the floor had come from a water tumbler Gary knocked off the counter.
Ethan had one tiny cut on his hand from crawling near it.
Nothing more.
My own collarbone hurt where Gary grabbed me.
My ankle hurt from kicking him.
No significant injury.
Gary was examined too.
Bruising across his hip and lower back from landing on the table.
No fracture.
No serious injury.
He later claimed I attacked him without provocation.
The kitchen told a different story.
