Chapter 22 - The Command Changes

The training command implemented several changes.
Nothing revolutionary.
Better supervisor handoff notes when informal corrections repeated.
Clearer definitions separating peer leadership from unauthorized punishment.
Anonymous climate reporting explained during orientation instead of buried in a website.
More instructor presence during unstructured transition periods.
Not constant surveillance.
Strategic visibility.
Peer-leader training that emphasized:
You may assist.
You may model.
You do not invent punishments.
And one recommendation I cared about:
When multiple minor incidents involve the same person or group, stop treating each as minor in isolation.
Patterns matter.
The commanding officer accepted most recommendations.
Rejected one involving staffing because resources did not support it.
Fair.

Evaluators recommend.
Commanders still operate inside reality.
