Chapter 14 - Nora finds the missing packet

Two days after the gala, Nora remembered something.
Vanessa often used the bridal suite upstairs during events.
Security searched it under legal authority after police obtained the appropriate process.
Inside a cosmetic bag investigators found packaging connected to the prescription medication identified in my toxicology results.
Not a smoking gun by itself.
Vanessa could theoretically possess medication lawfully.
But the prescription label was not hers.
It belonged to:
Elaine Foster.
Vanessa’s aunt.
Eighty-two.
Living in Connecticut.
Elaine confirmed she used the medication.
She also said:
Several months earlier, medication had disappeared during a family visit.
She assumed she misplaced it.
She had never given any to Vanessa.
Now the case had:
Toxicology.
The glass.
Packaging.
Access.
Messages.

Motive.
And witnesses.
