Chapter 20

At midnight, while the rest of the mansion was locked in a peaceful, heavily guarded sleep, Ryan descended into the subterranean bunker hidden deep beneath the estate. It was the true nerve center of his criminal empire. On the massive central monitor, a satellite map of Chicago pulsed with a glowing red beacon over an abandoned, industrial shipping yard. It was the exact location permanently carved into his daughter’s back: 41.8781° N, 87.6298° W.

This was the stronghold where the remnants of the Falcone family were gathering their strength, waiting for him to answer their sick, arrogant challenge. For three months, Ryan hadn't acted out of blind rage. He had utilized his vast intelligence network, thoroughly mapping every guard patrol, blind spot, and weapons cache at the shipyard.

Victor, a highly lethal former mercenary who had taken over as Ryan's new lieutenant, stepped into the command room. "Everything is green, boss. The tactical strike teams are heavily armed and in position. The private jet is fueled on the runway. We are wheels up in thirty minutes."

Ryan nodded slowly, his face an impenetrable mask of pure, calculated violence. He opened a heavy steel case, retrieving his custom black-matte pistol and sliding it smoothly into his shoulder holster. Shrugging on a long, dark trench coat, Ryan walked out of the bunker, radiating an aura of absolute death. He was flying to Chicago to unleash the full, terrifying wrath of the underworld upon the men who had tortured his family. The blood debt with the Falcones would be settled tonight. The legend of the ruthless kingpin wasn't ending; it was entering its most brutal chapter yet.
