Chapter 22 - My daughter gets a name
For three days after birth, her identity had become:
Baby Fenwick.
Wrong baby.
Correct baby.
Infant A.
Matching band.
Confirmed infant.
I hated it.
Her name was:
Elowen Fenwick.
I filled out the birth paperwork after identities were secure.
Caius helped choose her middle name.
Rose.
Elowen Rose Fenwick.
No secret surname.
No dramatic removal of her father’s name in anger.
Birth certificates record legal parentage.
Aloysius remained her father.
