Chapter 9 - My Signature Was Real and Not Real

The signature on the documents looked exactly like mine.

Because technically it was.

A high-resolution image of my signature had been lifted from an older approved contract.

Placed onto new pages.

The copied signature image had come from a scanned closing package stored on my home-office archive.

Accessed the night Vanessa and Marcus appeared on camera.

That answered why they were in my office.

But a signature image alone should not have moved $11.7 million.

It didn’t.
