Chapter 6 - Redline Guest Services

Payments led to a company I had never heard of.

Redline Guest Services LLC.

Owner:

Not Aurelia.

A man named Marcus Wynn.

Forty-six.

Former luxury hotel concierge.

Contractor for several high-end properties.

Redline advertised:

Discreet executive transportation.

Last-minute airport transfers.

Private dining logistics.

Luxury-event transportation.

Legitimate services.

Then invoices.

Redline charged clients.

Vehicles listed by plate number.

Three belonged to Vellari Executive Services.

Including Unit Six.

Payments to Vellari?

None in our normal accounts.

Instead Redline paid a consulting company:

Aurelia V Hospitality LLC.

Owned by my sister.

Gross payments over eighteen months:

$486,200.

Some of that could have been legitimate consulting income.

The question:

What services?

Invoices said:

Transportation coordination.

Vehicle access.

Premium availability.

Vehicle access.

There it was.

Aurelia was selling use of company SUVs through a side business.

Did I authorize?

No.

Did the board?

No.

Did Vellari have a contract with Redline?

No.

Then drivers.

Some had been paid overtime through Vellari payroll.

Others by Redline.

Fuel:

Often Vellari.

Insurance:

Vellari.

Maintenance:

Vellari.

Revenue:

Aurelia.

That looked less like a side hustle and more like diversion.

Still:

May you like

We needed accounting.

Not rage.
