Marcus babies him because Lauren died.
Then:
When Marcus travels, I can finally reset the house.

Rachel once replied:
What does reset mean?
Simone:
No screens, no sulking, no walking away, no Grandma rescue. He stays in his room until he can speak respectfully.
Rachel:
Sounds intense.
Simone:
He needs intense.
Then one message three weeks before discovery:
I found him writing something about me. If he’s documenting every argument, Marcus will take his side without context.
There.
Rachel replied:
Then stop grabbing him.
My breath stopped when investigators later showed me.
Simone:
I don’t grab him. I stop him leaving.
Rachel:
Same thing if you’re bruising him.
There.
