My family office.
Specifically, an assistant named Caroline West had emailed my mother an old property authorization months earlier.
Evelyn asked for it supposedly to confirm:
“How Alex formats his legal name.”
Caroline saw no reason to refuse.
She had no idea the signature would be extracted.
She was not charged.
But our document-security practices were embarrassing.

Guarantees required cryptographic approval.
