The document had entered the loan file through Natalie’s broker portal.
Uploaded from her account credentials.
Metadata showed the PDF was created on a laptop registered to Elaine.
Not proof by itself of who typed it.
Then investigators found the source file.
On Mom’s computer.
A Word document titled:
Natalie gift final.
It contained my name.
Address.
Bank name.
Gift amount.
And a pasted image of my signature.
The image file had another title:
Rachel signature cabin.
Subtle criminals exist.
My family was not among them.
Mom claimed Dad created the document.
Dad claimed Natalie asked for it.
Natalie claimed Mom handled the paperwork.
