Chapter 11 - The service room had a purpose beyond punishment

Sabella did not lock Oren away only because she disliked him.

The banquet seating mattered.

She was cultivating perception.

At formal dinners, visiting family trustees and senior relatives saw:

Adrian beside Draven’s wife.

Adrian greeting elders.

Adrian listening to speeches.

Adrian introduced as:

“the next generation.”

Oren disappeared.

Over time, absence becomes narrative.

One relative told investigators:

“I thought Oren hated formal family events.”

Another:

“I thought Draven wanted Adrian groomed for governance because Oren was too young.”

No.

I had never said that.

Sabella used logistics to manufacture apparent preference.

No forged trust document.

No secret transfer.

No billion-dollar theft.

Social positioning.

Family systems often make decisions based on what appears already settled.

Sabella understood that.

She wanted Adrian’s place to feel normal before the trust rules forced biological classification into the open.

Oren’s presence complicated the picture.

So she made him absent.

First gently.

May you like

Then coercively.
