Chapter 7 - The dinner I did not know about

The first confinement happened during a private dinner Seraphina hosted in my home.
Guests:
A documentary producer.
An entertainment attorney.
A literary agent.
Two executives from a streaming production company.
I knew none of them were coming.
The caterer invoice described:
Private development dinner.
Development of what?
My life.
More precisely:
A documentary series provisionally titled:
THE ROURKE DYNASTY
I stared at the invoice.
My attorney, Graham Mercer, said:
“Did you authorize this?”
“No.”
“Have you ever discussed a documentary?”
“Years ago. I said no.”
“With Seraphina?”
“Yes.”
“And?”
“She said she understood.”
May you like
Graham looked at me.
“She apparently understood something else.”
