Chapter 18 - The temporary custody proposal dies

I did not sign the ninety-day stipulation.

Obviously.

I hired my own family lawyer.

The proposed arrangement was withdrawn.

Reid’s attorney documented:

Given the recent incident and changed family circumstances, prior draft should not be treated as an active proposal.

No secret order.

No accidental transfer of rights.

Then temporary actual parenting plan.

Because we had separated physically, we needed one.

Court-approved interim arrangement:

Perry primarily with me for initial six weeks.

Reid:

Three weekday visits.

One weekend daytime block.

Visits not formally supervised after initial child-welfare concerns eased, but no Constance present.

Then gradual expansion based on:

Therapy.

Parenting-course participation.

Perry’s adjustment.

No using the closet incident as permanent evidence Reid could never parent.
