Chapter 7 - Walter slapped me

When I arrived, I untied Louisa.
Wrapped her in my coat.
Picked her up.
Walter stepped between me and the front door.
“You need to calm down.”
I said:
“Move.”
“You’re in our house.”
“Move.”
He slapped me.
One strike.
Across the cheek.
Louisa screamed.
I turned my body so she was behind my shoulder.
Then I hit Walter back.
He fell.
At that point I should have left.
I did not.
I pinned him briefly and grabbed the clippers.
Then shaved a strip through his hair.
“Never touch my daughter again.”
People online later loved that part.
They called it:
Justice.
Payback.
Mama bear revenge.
The law called it something else.
Retaliation.
May you like
Walter was no longer actively attacking me when I used the clippers.
I would answer for that later.
